But Jayne’s work goes beyond athletes—she supports kids (7+), teens, adults, and seniors through challenges like mood disorders, sleep struggles, grief, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and overall happiness. Her holistic, personal approach makes clients feel at ease, helping them navigate life’s hurdles and achieve their goals. deborah shand - REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

Deborah Shand is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals of all ages through life’s ups and downs. She is passionate about holistic mental health care and brings a practical, empowering approach to therapy.


Her areas of expertise include trauma, psychosis, anxiety, emotional regulation, compassion fatigue, and burnout. Deborah focuses on equipping clients with real-world skills to take charge of their mental wellbeing. She believes strongly in the power of education and early intervention to prevent issues from becoming more serious.


Creating a warm, safe space where people feel truly heard is central to Deborah’s practice. She is committed to breaking down the stigma around mental illness and encourages everyone to care for their mental health just as they would their physical health.

HERMANN HO TIN - REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

 Hermann is a psychologist who takes a flexible, holistic and neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy. He works with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a range of concerns, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, anger, trauma and complex PTSD.

Hermann has a particular interest in neurodiversity and understands that each person experiences and processes the world differently. His approach focuses on understanding the individual as a whole, rather than simply treating symptoms. With children, he incorporates play-based and developmentally appropriate approaches to build connection, emotional awareness and practical coping skills.

Hermann is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and integrates a range of evidence-based approaches to support people experiencing trauma, anxiety, phobias, PTSD, OCD and other emotional difficulties.

He also provides diagnostic assessments for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, with an emphasis on recognising individual strengths, differences and support needs.

Known for his warm, down-to-earth style, Hermann aims to create a supportive and non-judgemental space where clients can better understand themselves, work through difficult experiences and develop meaningful, practical ways to improve their wellbeing.

Loretta is a valued member of our team at Difference Psychology, bringing warmth, expertise, and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best. With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pune University, India, she has years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges.


Whether it’s anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or schizophrenia, Loretta takes a holistic approach, using proven therapies like CBT, ACT, DBT, and IPT to create personalised, effective treatment plans. She believes that therapy should be a safe, supportive space, tailored to each person’s unique needs, empowering them to take charge of their mental well-being. With her caring nature and commitment to client-centered care, Loretta is here to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and support

maddy holley - REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

Maddy is a Registered Psychologist with a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy. She works primarily with adults experiencing ADHD, autism, bipolar II, depression, trauma, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, and work-related stress.


Her practice draws on evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed approaches, and parent management training. Maddy is a Work Cover approved practitioner and has six years’ experience supporting neurodiverse clients through the NDIS.


Outside of the office, Maddy enjoys reading fantasy, crafting, spending time with her pets, playing games (board and console), and travelling whenever she can. She's also currently completing a PhD on dog-assisted psychological therapy, an area she's particularly interested in.

Liana harris - REGISTERED PSYCHOLOGIST

 Liana is a warm and approachable psychologist who is passionate about helping adults build insight, confidence, and resilience. She believes therapy should feel collaborative, practical, and tailored to each person's unique experiences and goals. She works with adults and older adolescents experiencing anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and workplace stress and burnout. Liana also has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, and has experience completing comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments.


Liana integrates a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and EMDR (Level 1 trained), adapting her approach to suit each client's needs. She is particularly passionate about supporting adults navigating late-identified ADHD or autism, helping clients better understand themselves, embrace their strengths, and develop practical strategies for managing everyday challenges. Liana strives to create a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental space where clients feel genuinely understood and supported while working towards meaningful and lasting change.
